Coreas Distribution Ltd & Campari Gifts to Nurses SVG
Coreas Distribution Limited (CDL) and Campari presented the Nurses of St. Vincent and the Grenadines with a $37,000 Christmas Gift at the Ministry of Health conference room earlier today, December 22nd, 2020. Coreas Distribution Limited (CDL) and Campari came together to express their appreciation to the Nurses of St. Vincent and the Grenadines for their hard work, dedication and service during this very challenging year of COVID-19, Dengue and the many other issues they are confronted with on a daily basis.
Coreas Distribution Limited (CDL) and Campari say Merry Christmas to all the Nurses by giving each of the 738 Nurses a $50 gift voucher as a small token of our appreciation. This is our way of recognizing the Nurses and wishing them a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year as they continue to serve this nation.
Coreas Distribution Ltd Awards Scholarships
Coreas Distribution Ltd, on July 28th, 2020, awarded some $14,000 in scholarships and bursaries to children of its employees. Two students, Nyah James and Terrecsia Simon, received scholarships of $1,000 each. These scholarships were awarded based on their overall position in the Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA) and will continue for the next seven years through to the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College.
Seven other students who were successful at CPEA 2020, were given bursaries of $300 each as a contribution towards the purchase of school supplies. Nine current scholarship holders also received $1,000 each for the upcoming school year.
Coreas Food Mart Gifts the Sanitation Workers
Coreas Food Mart recognizes the sanitation workers of Kingstown and to the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
According to Mr Jimmie Forde, the Managing director and CEO of Coreas Distribution, the Sanitation workers in Kingstown have been making an extra ordinary contribution through their hard work to keep Kingstown clean, especially during the Carnival and Christmas seasons. As a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication, Coreas Food Mart will give each of the eighty sanitation workers in Kingstown, a Christmas voucher.
This is Coreas Food Mart way of saying Merry Christmas and thank you to the sanitation workers for keeping Kingstown clean and for making this Christmas a little sweeter for the Sanitation workers.
Huggies celebrates SVG’s First Baby of the Year
Coreas Distribution is delighted to once again partner with the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital to present the Huggies First Baby of the Year token to the parents of the first baby for the year 2024. Baby Cassiah Walters was born on January 2, 2024, at 8:57a.m. to Cassandra Gerald and Gerald Walters; her birth weight was 7½lbs. Huggies was thrilled to gift the very first citizen of St. Vincent & the Grenadines for 2024 a package consisting of Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers stages 1–3, Huggies baby wipes and Kotex feminine hygiene products.
To ensure that all babies born in the month of January are well taken care of, Coreas Distribution has also donated ten (10) cases of size 1 Huggies Snug & Dry diapers and ten (10) cases of Huggies baby wipes to the Maternity Ward at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital. The overall donation has a value of over $4,000. These donations were presented to the hospital by Mr. Akeil Matthews, Brand Manager for Huggies and Mr. Bruce Baptiste Sales Representative. Sister Donette Chance-Williams thanked Coreas Distribution and Huggies for their generous donation on behalf of the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.

Coreas Distribution Supports the Young people Of St. Vincent & the Grenadines
Coreas Distribution Ltd continues to support the young people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
On Wednesday, May 15, 2024 CEO of Coreas Distribution Ltd, Mr. Jimmie Forde presented a cheque of $5,000 to Mr. Ian Sardine of SVG System 3 Sports Academy to assist some eight students with their travel expenses to pursue different studies in the United States of America.
Mr. Forde said this initiative is part of Coreas Distribution development program to assist young people in sports, culture and education. We are pleased to be associated with System 3 and the great work they are doing with the young footballers.
